After all the rain and wind this week, lake levels have risen. They are still quite a bit away from the high levels seen in November 2009 when Ireland and the UK had the wettest November since records began. See picture above (looking towards courthouse) from Nov 2009. Since this picture, the Council raised parts of the Gort Road surface by about 300mm.

The flooding blocked off the Council’s car park and access laneway, for several days.
