Lovely to see the sailboats in a pleasant breeze at sunset.

Dinghy sailing has been carried out on the Lake since the 1960s. Loughrea sailing club hosted Provincial Championships in the 1970s and 1980s.

Dinghies can be seen sailing the lake in the summer and autumn months.
